A SHORT WEEK IN REVIEW
We think the student's highlight was them going to the book fair. We hope your child is enjoying their new book/s.
We read Plump and Perky Turkey. We talked about problem/solution, character traits, and retelling the story. I hope everyone enjoys disguising their turkey that was sent home either at conferences or in your child's green folder.
In math students create a place value turkey. Students had to pick a number and write it in many different ways on turkey feathers and create a turkey.
Spanish was fun this week as you can see in the pictures. We brought our math lesson into our Spanish period. We did 2 Jack Hartman videos counting to 100 with exercises in English then in Spanish. Students all enjoyed getting a number and writing them with guided support in English and Spanish 1-20.
It was a pleasure meeting with you at conferences. It is truly a pleasure to have each and everyone of your children in our class this year. We hope we were able to give you insight on how your child is doing and we hope we were able to answer any questions you had.
The week went so fast, but is was so much fun!

If there are things in the "empty out" side, they can be taken out and left at home.
Please double check the other side for anything that needs to be signed and returned! Please be sure to return them to school the following day!
Thank you for your help with this at home!
Just a Note...
- Cold and flu season is upon us. Please keep your child home if they are not feeling well. Also, we would ask that you please talk about hand hygiene to prevent the spread of germs. We will continue to remind the students to cover their cough and sneeze with their elbow, keeping their hands away from their face, sanitizing or washing their hands after using a tissue, etc. Working together will help us all stay healthy!
AMAZON WISH LIST
As we mentioned at Back to School Night, we have put together an Amazon Wish List. Please remember there is absolutely NO pressure or obligation to purchase anything from this list. You can access it by clicking here. Thank you! :)
