Remember that Stuart has an advisory model. You will only meet with your Raptor's Adviser (their Morning Meeting/Connect 21 Teacher). Your child's adviser will have all the information you need. Our goal is to provide you plenty of time to ask questions and learn about your Raptor's academic, social and emotional performance at School.
If you have not made your appointment for Parent/Teacher Conferences, please click HERE to do so ASAP!
We are looking forward to seeing you.
Check-It-Out Stuart!
See you there Raptors!
March 9th - Remote Day for All Raptors!
27J Schools has worked with local health providers to ensure that over 1,600, 27J frontline employees receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. To accomplish this task, many employees are scheduled to receive their second dose on Monday, March 8. It is estimated that up to 40% - 50% of people who receive the second vaccine dose (Moderna or Pfizer) will experience side effects that may include fatigue, chills, headache, muscle aches and pains, and even a fever. If this percentage holds true, we will not have enough staff to engage fully in in-person learning on Tuesday, March 9. With no way of predicting who or how many will be impacted, and wanting to avoid last minute cancellations, we are asking schools, teachers, and parents to prepare in advance for a district-wide remote learning day similar to the learning we put in place last spring before we created our current hybrid learning model.
What does this mean to you and your child? Learning will continue to take place as normal (same teachers, same times, same classes) but we are moving to remoted only for that day.
National School Breakfast Week of March 8th-12th!
This nationally celebrated week promotes the importance of starting the day with a healthy meal. It's also a great time to remind students and families that breakfast is available to all students for FREE through the end of this school year.
We have organized a fun but socially distanced way of talking about School Breakfast. The theme this year is "Score Big With School Breakfast." We would like students to vote on their favorite breakfast item in a similar "March Madness Bracket" to see which entry makes it to the championship. Click HERE to access bracket. Give your form to our awesome cafeteria staff.
Your Voice Matters Stuart!
RISE up Stuart.

NEW Math Intervention Program Vetting Information
As we reflect on our mission in 27J of ensuring all students have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for present and future competence and success, we understand the challenges we are facing to close the gaps in math learning. We want to empower all of our students toward academic success and provide the necessary resources to make this happen. We utilize our core math programs of Bridges and enVision to offer strong tier 1 math instruction. Within these programs there are resources that support the diverse needs of our learners.
To further support the differentiation toward all students’ learning and growth, we have started a process of looking at programs that will allow us to be proactive in delivering real time math support, through an online program for individual students.
We have narrowed our search to two programs and would love your feedback. Attached you will find links to overviews and demo accounts for each program for you and your child to engage in. Additionally, we have added a Google Form for you to share your feedback with us. Your feedback and voice matters to us as we determine the best program for our students in 27J. Please share your feedback with us by March 7th.
Thank you for your time and perspective as we couldn’t do this without you.
Please review both programs prior to filling out the feedback form.
