Ms. Svec

Hi! My name is Melissa Svec and I am the 5th grade team leader for the 2015-2016 school year. I grew up in Plano, went to Plano schools K-12 and feel fortunate that I get to teach here. I graduated from Texas Tech University with my B.S. in Social Work and then got my M.S. in Social Work from The University of Texas–Arlington. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and am very excited to be starting my 9th year at Meadows Elementary in 5th grade.

Ms. Harvey

Hello, my name is Tricia Harvey. I am a product PISD. I attended Sigler Elementary and graduated from Plano Senior High. I moved to Nacogdoches, Texas to attend and graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University. I lived in The Woodlands, Texas for 21 years. I am so excited to finally be back home and lucky enough to be teaching in my beloved Plano.I feel very fortunate to be working at Meadows, surrounded by such talented educators.

Jacob Bartok

Mr. Bartok is a Math and Science teacher.He is the founder of the Meadows Garden. He is dedicated to his students, and was awarded an Excellence in Teaching Award last year.

Ms. Hanna

Hi my name is Hanna, and I am a 5th grade reading, writing, and social studies teacher at Meadows Elementary. I was born in Houston, Texas and lived there until I moved to Lubbock, Texas for college. I studied abroad in Spain after graduating from Texas Tech. This is my first year at Meadows, but my fourth year teaching. I am certified to teach early childhood through sixth grade and English as a Second Language. I love to teach and am so excited for this school year!

Nora Valdez

Hello, my name is Nora Valdez and I am the fifth grade bilingual teacher for the 2015-2016 school year. I was born in Monterrey, Mexico, but Texas is my home. I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce and I am currently enrolled at The University of Texas Permian Basin working towards my masters. This is my second year at Meadows and I am loving it.
