The Board of Education received the results of the 2021 engagement survey. Ninety-two percent of parents gave their schools an A or a B. Ninety-three percent of students gave their school an A or a B.

We are grateful to have reached this point in the pandemic. The number of cases reported to the district has dropped significantly and remains low. At spring break the district’s response to the pandemic will be updated. The daily active cases dashboard will no longer be maintained. Additionally, the elementary schools will mirror our secondary schools and no longer send a letter home when they are informed of a positive case. The COVID-19 web pages will remain on the district website and the district will continue to monitor the pandemic closely. If conditions change, the district will once again adjust its response.

The School Social Work Association of Nebraska has honored Marian Fey with its Friend of School Social Work award for 2022. The award honors a professional or volunteer in Nebraska who has made a significant impact supporting the field of school social work, specifically in the areas of family children’s services, education, community support/outreach and advocacy.
