Learn By Doing...Lead By Example

APRIL 20, 2015

Welcome!

Read below for house news, upcoming assessments, and highlights!

SAVE THE DATES

Our 7th graders will be participating in two very important events this last quarter. We wanted you to know of the following dates and events:

Veteran Celebration of Learning: May 28 from 4:30 until 6:00pm. All of our veterans will return to our school for a celebration led by the students. All student veteran groups are expected to have at least one representative available for this event (It would be AWESOME if all students could come!). Parents and guardians are also welcome to attend this exciting event and meet the veterans that the students have been working with.

Awards Day: June 1 from 8:30 until 9:30 in the MGMS Gymnasium

Color Me Gator

The Color Me Gator Party is this Wednesday afternoon. Our students and teachers are very excited about this event. We look forward to a great time with everyone involved. Thank you, PTO for organizing this!

POWER OF ONE - CREW PROPOSAL

Donate a Toothbrush was our winning proposal for Crew's Power of One initiative. We are collecting toothbrushes through Crew to donate to Donate a Toothbrush!

The purpose of our Power of One donation drive is to help students see that if we all give just a little, we can have a huge impact. If every student donates ONE toothbrush, we will have close to 1,000 to donate to an organization that is making a global impact. Send in one (or more) toothbrush/es with your gator to support our cause. Students can turn toothbrushes into their Crew leader. Crews will earn 1 point for every toothbrush which will impact their score at Crew Cup in just a few weeks!
