Hello Crusaders! An update on the DP Strong Walkathon:
As a school, we have DOUBLED our goal of $5000 and then some! As such, we have earned an out of uniform day AND a Homework Free Week, for all registered participants that complete the walk.
Because you've all been so amazing, FSA has decided to DOUBLE the reward. BOTH the classroom that is #1 on the leaderboard for progress towards their class goal AND the class that raises the most money overall will win a PIZZA PARTY, courtesy of FSA.
Leaderboards:
By Class Goal--
1st place PK4 Mahalingham!
2nd place 4th grade!
3rd place 2nd grade!
By Amount Raised--
1st place 3rd grade!
2nd place 2nd grade!
3rd place 8th grade!
We DO need your help though -- We have the potential to triple our goal. We've done a great job of registering!
But, please take five minutes to share your Crusader's web page with family, friends, and social media friends too. Though we have lots of registrants, we also have many who have registered and haven't yet shared. It's quick and easy: No donation is too small, and every little bit helps.
Thank you for your constant support, and stay tuned for more updates!
IMPORTANT! Drop off and pick up safety
You cooperation is very important and appreciated!
Volunteers are REALLY Needed!
To be able to volunteer at our school, you must complete all Protecting God's Children Requirements. (See below) All volunteers must wear a mask, except if supervising outdoor recess.

Traveling out of state? We need to know**...
Domestic travelers to an “Orange state” on the Chicago Emergency Travel Order mapmust adhere to:
- 10-day quarantine upon return OR
- Pre-arrival negative test (within 72 hours prior to return arrival to the state) with strict masking, physical distancing and avoidance of in-person gatherings (separate from school attendance). Any test administered by a 3rd-party is sufficient; however, a self-administered test is not acceptable. Archdiocesan schools should accept any negative test prior to school attendance including tests upon return to the state.

Safety drills
When it comes to the Police and Fire Departments, the Fire Department will come to our school to monitor one of our fire drills. We do this every year! It is nice when some of the firefighters that come are DP alumni!
