Dark Water Rising is the book that has been checked out the most times this year with 36! This is a historical fiction book about the Storm of 1900 that struck Galveston, TX.


Presley Parker loves graphic novels; she has read 45 books this year!


We saw 19 classes in 16 days during the month of January.


The library has checked out 2,553 books this year. Keep it up!

Guerrilla Games March 1st

We are gearing up for Guerrilla Games on March 1st at Alvin Junior High School. We already have five students who have read enough Lone Star books to qualify for the team: Natalie Geren, Abigail Ptak, Jacob Alaniz, Annelise Henley, and Dustin Lozano. We are hoping to have another student qualify soon.
