Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 2 Issue 7 - 10/02/22
Greetings Clipper Nation!
The students did an excellent job throughout homecoming week, and I think they had fun at the pep rally and the dance. It was great to hear the cheering and the smiles. I am so proud of them!
There will be a special senior meeting presented by the school counselors for seniors on Tuesday during second period (9:10) in the JMB auditoriums.
Progress reports go live on the 5th, so I hope our good start to the year also means good grades. Freshman parents, please take time to connect to the parent portal to review grades. It is vital that students in 9th grade pass all their classes, so they stay on track to graduate.
October 12th is PSAT testing day. Only 10th grade and 9th and 11th who registered for the PSATs will attend school in person on that day. All other students will have an asynchronous day and will access their work online through google classroom for each class.
If you have a child in a semester one math or English course, look for a report going home in the next few weeks with their score on the MAP or iReady assessment. If you have any questions, contact your child's teacher.
If you know your student will be late for school, please send them with a note so we can excuse their absence. Students start earning referrals on the fourth lateness to school.

Parking Permits
Update - Starting in October students will receive warnings if they are parking without a parking permit. Later in the month if students are still parking without a parking permit stickers will be placed on windshields.
Food and Clothing Pantry
If your family is need of additional food, we are here to help. We have a food pantry right here in JMB. Simply scan the QR code on this document and fill out the attached form. A staff member will be in contact as soon as possible to assist you.
