Newton's Laws 1, 2, and 3

By : Connie Hu - Period 2

Law #1 - An object at rest stays at rest unless an unbalenced force acts upon it and an object stays in motion unless an unbalenced force acts upon it

- If a ball was at at rest, it will not move unless a force (another ball) were to act upon it

Law #2 - The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the ampunt of force acted upon it.

- Both balls are pushed with the same force, the bowling ball has more mass therefore it will accelerate slower and the soccer ball with acclerate faster because it has less mass

Law #3 - For every action, There is an equal and opposite reaction because forces come in pairs

- When the action of a ball being thrown to the ground happens, there is a reaction of the ball bouncing back off the ground
