A Letter from the Athletic Director
Dear Spartans: It is with bittersweet emotions that I share with you that I will be stepping down from my position as Director of Athletics at Uxbridge Public Schools at the end of this school year. Yesterday, I accepted the position of Athletic Director for the Stoughton Public Schools effective July 1, 2022. This opportunity brings me much closer to home to my family and offers professional growth. Thank you Uxbridge for having me as your Athletic Director. I am grateful for our time together and for the profound privilege of serving this amazing community. These last four years have been the highlight of my professional career and have had a true personal impact on me as well. Uxbridge is part of me; always will be. I made every decision with the utmost of integrity and love for this district. This was always more than a job to me - it was my passion. While I will leave it to others and the history books to judge my tenure, I am thankful for our supporters and incredibly proud of the individuals who I work with every single day. To our outstanding administrators, our dedicated coaches, and our elite student-athletes: thank you. You give a piece of your lives to this department and community every day and you are the reason why I loved coming to work. It was my honor to lead you and I will profoundly miss you all. There is still more work to be done, and I am certain that the next chapter of Uxbridge Athletics will be a great one. I will forever cheer on our beloved Spartans, win or lose, with my head held high. Sincerely, Christopher Carbone
