"Two Are Better Than One"
Greetings friends!
E49 has been making fantastic progress in the exciting world of strategic planning, Community development and building infrastructure to provide an answer from the Church to address areas of critical need right here in our own city (Have you fallen asleep yet?!). Simply put, E49 has been working through the “backend programming” which will allow Christian businesses, nonprofits and churches to collaborate together to meet the needs of the Sacramento area. Things like, homelessness, human trafficking, refugees and at risk youth. While God has been fine tuning the details and process, it has been a joyful and humbling experience for each of us as we watch God lay one brick at a time to build E49. It may sound a bit daunting, (it has to us too!), but I cannot express in words the excitement we have as we’re preparing to publically launch our City Initiatives. Initiatives that will pour out into the streets of Sacramento and become the conduit for the love of Christ to be seen, heard, and felt. Initiatives that will serve as a rally cry for the Church in our region to rise up, become mobilized and serve our God and others. E49 is about collaboration. Do you want to connect, resource and mobilize in your community? Want to make a difference locally? Let’s talk!
What's new with E49's THREE INITIATIVES?
City Purpose
Please join us THIS Friday July 10th at our First Friday Breakfast (2nd Friday of the month due to the holiday). It will be a great time of networking, sharing Kingdom building efforts, and hearing from William Jessup University President John Jackson. This is a great opportunity for local non-profit, faith and business leaders to engage and connect with one another for collective kingdom impact. RSVP here!
City Hope
E49 has officially set into motion two Day of Hope events for 2015. The first, August 29th which will be a back-to-school Day of Hope at American Legion High School benefiting the Oak Park Community. The second, November 7th a Day of Hope will happen for the first time ever at Encina High School in the Arden Arcade community. We are proud to see churches, non-profits, school districts and businesses come on board to collectively bring hope to communities in the Sacramento region.
We are in need of children's clothing donations in order to bless each family at our Day of Hope events. If you have any new or gently used clothing to donate please drop them off at Suite 2:10 (2830 G Street Sacramento, CA 95816) on Monday - Friday during business hours.
City Worship
Come join us on July 24th from 7-9pm at Suite 210 for an intimate time of worship as the collaborative body of Christ in Sacramento! City Worship Night is part of E49’s City Worship initiative and exists to unify the capital “C” Church to worship God in our different ways of worship expression including singing, sharing of personal testimonies, and other nontraditional but biblical ways of worship. Check us out on Instagram & Facebook!
