Report Cards
Report cards were sent home on Friday. Be sure to sign and send back your envelope!
Chromebook Pilot Parent Meeting
There will be an informational meeting about eLearning days and the Chromebook Pilot on Thursday, January 14 in the Gym at CSA Lincoln. Your child should have brought home a packet of information about Chromebooks and eLearning days today. The One-to-One Agreement page (orange) needs to be filled out and brought back ASAP.
Weekly News
-Homework packets went home on Friday. Packets are due on this coming Friday. The material in the packet is taken from what we will be covering throughout the week. The cover sheet tells what E/LA skills we are working on.
-Our Unit 5 math test will be this Thursday.
-In math stations, we are working on vocabulary for our upcoming test.
-In our PODS, we will be working on vocabulary and pronouns and antecedents
PBL Projects
-Zero Heroes: The 5th and 6th grade project managers have been working hard coming up with ways to measure and give classrooms feedback on their recycling efforts, including a "recycle-gram" modeled after the huskygrams. Volunteers have been collecting paper on Thursdays from all the classrooms.
-Myth Busters: We will be having a kick-off for our Myth Busters project tomorrow (Wednesday)!
Testing this week
- Thursday- spelling test, Unit 5 Math test
-Friday - Grammar (Pronouns and Antecedents), Comprehension (4.1), Vocabulary (4.1)
Other News
- We need glue sticks!!! Please check with your child about their glue supply.
-Please send in a cheap pair of headphones for your child! It is very important that they have these, as our spelling tests and many of our station/pod activities require them!
