ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND GROWTH
Ohio State Testing
We have been working hard all year to prepare our scholars for a successful testing season coming up. More information will be coming out to families about ways that you can support your scholar with preparing for the test as well as our incentive plan to help our scholars do their best.
Our theme for the school year is TO PROFICIENCY AND BEYOND!! We know that our scholars are capable of amazing things and we look forward to them showing all they know!
School Climate and Culture
Remember our Noble Expectations - Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Kind!
Student Attendance
This past week, our FIFTH GRADE CLASSES led the charge with a 94% attendance rate!! Keep up the great work, fifth grade :)
Our schoolwide attendance rate is currently at 92.7%. While this is still above our goal of 92%, please put every effort forth to make sure that if your child is well enough to be at school, they are at school. Thank you for all of our families who are working hard to help make sure our scholars are here at school!

BE RESPECTFUL
During the months of March and April, we are talking to students about showing determination in their schoolwork and their relationships. We've reviewed ways that students can be respectful in their interactions with both adults and their peers at Noble.
During our Friday Celebration Assemblies, we focus on practicing respectful language we can use at school, even when we get frustrated or angry. Mrs. Burkey and Mrs. Ohlinger continue to practice these skills with students who need some extra reinforcement.
Please review these expectations with your scholars at home - this is a great way to show NOBLE PRIDE!!
The Noble Neighborhood Library will be closing for renovation on Saturday, April 15th. If the library was your child's dismissal destination, please be sure to adjust accordingly. Thanks!
PBIS Parent Survey
Since we want to encourage participating in this survey, when you complete it, you can send me a quick email with a message stating that you have taken the PBIS Parent/Family Survey along with your child's name and I will award your child 5 ClassDojo points for Parent Engagement.
Noble PRIDE Roll-Out - February Focus: Inquisitive
In November, we practiced the behavior of being PROACTIVE and our scholars did a great job practicing being in control of their attitude and planning for success. In December and January, we focused on being REFLECTIVE and practiced thinking about how they can reflect on their learning and behavior at school. February's focus was on being INQUISITIVE and looking forward to learning new things at school. We will continue to roll out PRIDE behaviors throughout the remainder of the year.
Be sure that you are connected to your child's ClassDojo account. You can keep informed about school events, monitor the points they receive for positive behavior, and message with their teachers.
IMPORTANT INFO
Important Car Safety Reminder
Also, we have seen a car parking on the blacktop during dismissal on several occasions since we're returned in 2023. Please know that NO VEHICLES should be pulling onto the blacktop to ensure that safety of students and adults during our dismissal time.
Thank you for your attention to this!
