Tena Koutou Katoa Weber Whanau,
This week we have started our 'Chill out and read' programme in conjunction with Libraries Tararua - nurturing and supporting literacy, a love of libraries and developing partnerships with schools.
Each child will receive a booklet and bookmark, there are a total of five challenges during the six week programme using the books Tararua library has sent out. We are excited to get started! and are planning a visit to the local library this term.

Ross Shield Helpers Wanted!!
The tournament runs from Tuesday 4th -Saturday 8th October at Rugby Park in Gertrude Street. We would appreciate assistance from your school with the running of the food stall and barbecue from 12.30-4.30pm on Wednesday 5th October
We require approximately 5 people. We also require 6 students (preferably over 9yrs old) to be 'ball boys/girls', wearing their school sports/rugby tops and sports shorts.
We also encourage the schools to bring along their school banner and have it on display on the day that they are helping.
