Me in a Nutshell
Music is my religion. I have played piano since I was four and I started playing alto saxophone in elementary school. My freshman year of high-school was the most life changing year I have had throughout school. By then I was practicing alto saxophone and piano like a mad man. I decided to join chorus also and because of this, I was learning from the two most influential music educators I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. They are Mr. Viavattine, my instrumental teacher, and Mr. Jones, my choral director. While my father was giving me voice lessons, I concentrated mainly on saxophone. I was really involved in the school wind ensemble and jazz band. I loved high-school because of these groups and some of my favorite memories come from being a part of them. I am now a freshman music education student at Baldwin Wallace University. My primary instrument is voice and I am extremely dedicated to becoming the best musician and music educator that I can possibly be.
Jazz Band
This is the Spencerport high-school jazz band. I had a blast with this band. That's me in the middle with the upsidedown sax. This is my favorite picture of any band I have ever been in. For some reason everyone just had the perfect expressions!
Proffesional Cat
This is Elvis. He's one cool cat. He is pretty smart. One day he didn't have access to a litter box so he took papers out of a nearby trash can and did his business on the papers. He doesn't sing though.
Piano Playing
This is me playing a piano in the Spencerport High-School band room. That piano is the stage piano and was moved to the band room during the musical because they needed to conserve space for sets. I took advantage of the open piano and played it there for hours.
