This is only a half an hour but we will credit your volunteer account 2 hours each time you volunteer. No experience needed just a mask!!! Let us know if you can help out and what days you are available. Call Melissa in the front office.

March 22-April 9
This new fundraiser has two primary goals: to foster a love of reading in our children and to raise critical funds to support SBS and our amazing programs. Details to follow next week. If you would like to help, reach out to Charity Ybarra at ybarra_charity@yahoo.com.
Lent Small Group
All are welcome to join the Parish of St. Bernard for a Lent Small Group meeting every Tuesday from 6:30- 8:00pm in the School Reception Meeting Room. We will be watching a program called Symbolon, a video series that highlights different aspects of our faith with an opportunity for small group discussion. We ask that everyone RSVP by email to Deacon Kevin kbartholomew@sbdallas.org or Mother Servant mservant@sbdallas.org by Monday afternoon prior to the meeting to ensure we are able to provide the necessary space. We will be following all COVID protocols so it is a safe environment for all in person, but we will also have a ZOOM option if you would like to join virtually. We encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity to learn more about your faith during this Lenten Season.

CRS Rice Bowl
The intended use of the CRS Rice Bowl is to encourage the participation of EACH FAMILY of our school by having rice bowls at home and not just in our classrooms. Each class was given rice bowl sets for each student and ONE for the classroom. The students take home the sets. The sets includes one rice bowl and one calendar.
Go over the rice bowl with your child and follow the directions on the section of the calendar that says, “BRING LENT TO LIFE with CRS Rice Bowl”. Families can combine and contribute to the Rice Bowls found in the classroom and at home. Two ways to donate through the school campaign is Cash or Check. The deadline is WEDNESDAY MARCH 31ST, 2021 For more detailed information you can visit https://www.crsricebowl.org/about/ricebowl-faq
MARCH VIRTUE OF THE MONTH: TEMPERANCE
"May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us."
~St. Teresa of Avila
