Because of her hard work, Helen Keller is being awarded with a charity organization. This organization will give procedures, or money for them, to people who are either blind, deaf, or both.
Some of her many accomplishments include..
*write many books
*get into collage
*establish a 2 million dollar endowment fund primarily on behalf of the American foundation for the blind.

Helen Keller was very determined not to let her disabilities get in her way. Despite her disabilities, Helen Keller learned how to do small tasks such as fold laundry, and etch objects to help her mother.
How Helen Keller communicated
Helen Keller learned to understand people's conversations by putting her hands up to their lips and throats. She also learned to understand words by having them spelled out on her palm with other people's fingers.
Helen Keller's work with Anne Sullivan
Throughout her life, Helen Keller worked with Anne Sullivan. Anne Sullivan taught Helen Keller how to feel objects, and associate them with words, understand words by having them spelled out on her palm, and read sentences by feeling raised word on clipboard.
Throughout her life, Helen Keller did many memorable things, and never let her disabilities get in her way. She was very determined, and this led her to be very triumphant.
