Dear Parents and Carers,
What a glorious week we've had in the sunshine. It has been lovely to see so many classes take their learning outside to make the most of our fabulous school grounds.
We were amazed by the total raised by the Friends in the Readathon - which was an incredible amount of £1,256.20. A huge well done to all of the children who took part for relishing the challenge to read as many great books as they did, to all of the sponsors and to the Friends for organising such a worthwhile fundraiser.
This week we were lucky enough to have a visit from Andy, our MAT PE co-ordinator, to work with some of our Key Stage 2 children. They spent a lovely morning in the sunshine doing orienteering and archery, developing their team work and problem solving skills.
It was lovely to have so many parents and carers call in to our open classrooms today. Staff are also really looking forward to welcoming parents back in to school for our parents evenings next week. We have missed showing off our fantastic school to you.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Becca Cameron
