New Britton Elementary - May 20, 2016
Dear Bulldog Families,
We have so much to celebrate (writing, projects, science experiments, math problem solving, social growth…and just our students in general) every day at New Britton but especially in the month of May. As teachers are giving their final NWEA, Guided Reading, and other year-end assessments, it is inspiring to see how much our students have grown! I cannot even begin to tell you how much we appreciate your partnership in their educational journey with us.
Our 4th grade students started their week with a trip to Riverside Intermediate. They took a tour and learned about 5th grade and how to navigate a different building and schedule. Many 4th graders (those on the Bulldog Track Team) finished out the week participating in the district track meet Thursday night. We would like to thank Coach Jackson and the teacher and parent volunteers who helped with practices and the meet.
Have a fabulous May weekend. We are looking forward to a WONDERFUL last week of school. As always, thank you for partnering with us in education!
