Bear Bulletin

A Message from Mrs. Venghaus

Bear Branch family.

We have officially made it to the end of the first 9 weeks. It was definitely a team effort and we are looking forward to the next marking period as we continue to enrich and immerse our students into the curriculum. A HUGE thank you to our parents for stocking the teacher's lounge. Our staff enjoyed the day stopping by the lounge for snacks and drinks. We appreciate you!

October is looking to be a busy month and if you are like me, you like to plan ahead. Announcements are listed below along with a calendar of what we have planned through the end of the month.

Proud to be your student's principal,

Thank you for stocking our lounge!!!! What a treat it was. Happy end of the first 9 weeks!!!

Virtual Student Pictures and Picture Re-Take Day

We will have picture re-take day on October 30th. This is for students who were absent the first time we had pictures taken. We will also use this time as the opportunity for virtual students to come to campus for school pictures.

Virtual Students

Students may come to campus and check-in to the front office during school hours (7:15am - 2:25pm) to have their picture taken. Pictures will be taken in room B100. We will have office aids who can escort students down if needed. Parents will be asked to remain in the front office. A mask must be worn to enter the building.

Veterans Day Yard Signs

Veterans Day is coming up in November. We are thanking our Veterans differently this year. The Bear Branch Junior High chapter of National Junior Honor Society would like to honor our Veterans with a yard sign expressing our appreciation. If you know a Veteran you would like to thank, please fill out the form in the link below. Sign requests will need to be in by October 21st to ensure delivery.

BBJH Veteran Yard Sign - Sign Up

A BBJH Contact will be required as we will give your student the sign to take home and deliver to the Veteran. Additionally, we will have a bag with hand written letters of gratitude to be given to the Veteran from BBJH.

Virtual students can participate as well. You will be required to come to the school to pick up the sign when it is ready.

The sign will be one sided, red, white and blue, and read :

A Proud Veteran Lives Here

Thank you for your service.

Bear Branch Junior High

We hope this sign in the yard will help Veterans know how much we care. There is no cost for the sign, we just ask that you deliver it to the Veteran and leave the bag of notes for them to enjoy.
