Free Yoga Classes

An 8-Week Adventure into the 8 Limbs of Yoga!

Tuesdays, 3:45-5:00 PM

Beginning January 14 through March 4!

We will meet in the PT/OT Room (Room 16).

Yoga practioners at any level are welcome! I will offer modifications for every posture to meet your individual needs.

If you have been curious about trying yoga, this is a great place to start! If you have been practicing for awhile, this is also a great way to dive in deeper with your practice!

Completely Free!

I am offering this course as a service project, which is part of my teacher training to advance my certification. Instead of asking for money, I am asking for a commitment that you are there for all 8 weeks. We will be building on what we learn each new week, so it is important that you be present for every class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: If you have a mat, please bring that. I have a few extras, but not enough for everyone.

Q: What do I wear?

A: Comfortable clothes that you can move in! Try to find clothes that fit closer to the body so they don't fall down in downward dog :)

Q: Can I do yoga if I'm not flexible?

A: Of course!! I offer modifications for every posture to meet you where ever you are. Flexibility comes with time. (When I first started a few years ago, I could not touch my toes!)

Q: Can I do yoga if I'm not "in shape"?

A: We are all in some kind of shape...round, square, whatever! Yoga can be taught to every single person, no matter your "shape." I can't stand the "yoga body" stereotype--yoga was invented by men in India! There is no ideal "yoga body," because we all have our own strengths and weaknesses.
