Joseph Stalin was born on December 8, 1878 in Gori, Georgia. He was the leader of the Soviet Union. After Vladimir Lenin died in 1924, Joseph Stalin took over in his place and ruled until the time of his own death on March 5, 1953 near Moscow, Russia. While brutally killing more than 20,000,000 people, Stalin impacted history by industrially and militarily transforming the Soviet Union into a world power. Joseph Stalin would be compatible with Mussolini because they were both dictators.
