Drills
Earthquake Drill - An announcement will be made and teachers will implement the following:
1. Drop to knees facing away from windows.
2. Get under desks or tables where possible and hold on firmly.
3. Fold body onto floor with arms close to knees.
4. Place head between knees; and cover head with hands.
5. Stay in this position for 10 seconds.
6. Teachers will direct students to return to seats
Extended Fire Drill - An announcement will be made for students and teachers to get their book bags, coats, and belongings and exit the building as they would for a fire drill. In reality this drill is a bomb threat drill; however, we will not use the word "bomb" in our language with students as we are conducting the drill.

Umphlette, Grogesky, and Taylor, hats off for noticing a student needed medical attention and acted promptly and calmly. You all probably saved a life because you were vigilant and know your students!
Mrs. Day, thank you for your highly engaging lessons! The students always learn so much, and so do I when I'm in there coteaching with you!
Melone, thank you being so positive and ready to jump in even though you are only at Lynnhaven for one day a week.
Kindergarten team work makes the dream work! Thank you to the whole grade level for rocking it out to finish up the VKRP assessment.
Thank you to Geri Pattie for putting some much time and heart work into the data spreadsheets! They look amazing!

OPEN ENROLLMENT 2020
Open Enrollment begins soon! Don't miss out on updating your benefits. One item to pay attention to this year is that all 403 (b) contributions will begin going to a single provider. (See Dr. Spence's email for further clarification.) It is imperative that you speak with your current provider at some point to determine your decisions about what to do with your current contributions.
Window for Open Enrollment:
Wednesday, October 9 - Friday, October 25 at 5:00 p.m.
