Message from Mrs. Dameron
When arrive to school
Dear parents,
We would like to revisit with you the safety procedures that CyFair ISD has established and requested to be implement in all of our educational facilities.
* Upon arriving at the school, you must press the bell button located on the right side of the entrance door.
* Through the intercom, you should briefly mention the reason for your visit and identify yourself.
* You might be given the access to the reception so you can present your valid photo identification and proceed with your visit.
* This procedure should be executed individually and/or by family. You will not have access to the inside of the school without having completed the above.
* Once you present your valid photo ID at the reception, you will be given a temporary label with your name and destination. After that you may proceed to the inside of the school.
The safety of our students is supreme important for us. Therefore, it is extremely important to comply with each and every one of the safety regulations at all school facilities. We appreciate your attention and interest in this matter.
Sincerely,
Walker Elementary School Administration Team.
Attention all hikers and car riders!
*Please make sure that if your child is walking to school they use the sidewalks and crosswalks accordingly.
*Do not allow your child to cross the street into oncoming traffic.
*If your child is a car rider, please use the car rider line. DO NOT park and walk them across the front of the building. The buses are not able to pull in or pull out.
These procedures are extremely important to follow for the safety of our students and staff members.
TITLE I
Dear Parent or Guardian,
At the beginning of the school year, parents of students attending a campus receiving Title I funds must be notified that they may request information regarding professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teachers.
The federal law requires the school district to provide you this information in a timely manner if you request it. Specifically, you have the right to request the following information about each of your child’s classroom teachers:
· teacher certificate and licensure for the grades and subject taught;
· college major or information regarding advanced degrees; and
· qualifications of teacher aides or similar paraprofessionals who provide services to a child.
If you would like to receive this information, you may contact the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Human Resources Department at 281-897-4099
