A Note from Mrs. Copeland
We've had a BUSY week! It was great seeing so many of you on Wednesday at Hot Skates. We have some talented skaters! Also, today we celebrated all of our Integrity character award winners for January (K-4 pictured above and 5th grade pictured below). Thanks for the example you set at DT! In addition, today our 5th graders enjoyed their visit to BEMS to see the band, orchestra, and choir perform! This visit helps students decide which related art they would like to participate in next year. Finally, it was TWIN DAY! We loved seeing all of the matches! Thanks for helping us support Relay for Life.
NEXT FRIDAY- BOOMER IS VISITING DTE to talk about how to be our best self. Wear your Pacers gear next Friday to help us welcome Boomer!
Hope you have a SUPER WEEKEND watching the Super Bowl!

CLASS PARTY timeline
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH
Students and staff are very excited for our Spring Parties on Friday, February 14th. For those of you who signed up to attend, here is a little more information:
- Tables will be set up in the lobby for visitors to sign-in. At this time, you will indicate if your child will be leaving with you and sign them out on the paper.
- At 2:30, parents will be released to classrooms to begin setting up.
- Parties run from 2:40-3:25.
- At 3:25, parties should be cleaning up and parents dismissing.
- At 3:35 All-School Dismissal begins.
**Please have your ID ready when you check into the party and when you check out students.
**Parents who would like to take their children home with them will need to visit their child's classroom and communicate with the teacher in addition to signing them out. Students will only be released to adults on the child's approved guardian list as indicated in PowerSchool. If you need them to go home with someone else, please contact the office before the party.
Thanks for your understanding with these safety measures. We're excited to see many of you at the parties!
