Challenge to Change: An In-Depth Look

We, the English 2 team, would like to cordially invite you and your colleagues to attend an exciting evening featuring the service learning projects of our Sophomore Class. Community High School is dedicated to community collaboration and celebration, and the Fifth Annual Challenge to Change the Future Festival is an event to do just that!

The class of 2019 was challenged to make an impact that would change the future for people in our community and make important strides towards Social Justice. Students were invited to research an important social issue that is of personal value; topics such as homelessness, hunger, poverty, animal cruelty, immigration, and bullying prevention have been researched and investigated in order to influence a positive change in that field.

We are passionate about sharing this work with our families, the community, our local businesses, and non-profit organizations. This is a moment to see your kids in action, parents, and community, these are the teenagers that could someday be your employees or volunteers, and we are eager to have you in attendance for networking and socializing with these impressive students.

Join us to celebrate and learn about how the sophomores at WCCHS have come together with one voice to speak up for change. This event will run like a conference according to the times listed above. Students will be presenting to small groups in classrooms on the 3rd floor of the building. To find the time and location of student presentations, click here!
