Halloween
Fun and Friendly Costumes Please!
Halloween is coming soon. It’s time to think about your costumes. For our school parade and party please wear only fun and friendly costumes. Fun and friendly excludes blood, gore, scary/frightening masks or clothing, and weapons. If anyone has questions concerning the appropriateness of a costume, please contact the office. Thank you for keeping things on the fun and light side!
Note: Given limited time for changing, we encourage you to reserve makeup for your evening trick-or-treating.
Parade and Parties
Please do not have your child wear their costume to school. There will be time to change before the parade. The parade will begin at 2:30 in the hallway by the kindergarten rooms. It will progress into the west hallway and up to the lobby. Weather permitting, the students will go out the west doors, around the north side of the building and come back in the main entrance, then back down the east hallway. If it’s raining, the parade will go through the gym. Parties in the classroom will follow the parade.
Food Safety
Please remember to follow the District Approved Snack List. Linked is the lists of what to bring for parties or birthdays. Thanks for helping to make Rockbrook a caring community for all of our students. We hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!
Meet Ms. Larsen
Hello! I am a new face to the Rockbrook Bulldog family. My name is Kelsey Larsen and at Rockbrook I am a Special Educational Assistant. Currently, I am a student at The University of Nebraska at Omaha studying Early Childhood Education. I enjoy endless hours of online shopping and scrolling through Pinterest. I also enjoy baking, scrapbooking, and spending time with my friends and family. One of my favorite quotes is by Kid President who said, “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.” I like this quote because it puts a different perspective on what it means to be kind to one another. It is my goal to uplift others and let them know they have a place. I enjoy coming to work every day and working with your students!
