Technology in Full Effect
Students are learning how to integrate technology into their academic lives. The OSMO is a great tool where students can manipulate shapes to make other shapes (one of our kindergarten math standards). With the OSMO, you can also purchase letters and numbers too. I can't speak highly enough about this tool. It's great with preschool age children as well.
Students are also working on displaying their knowledge of the US Symbols using Pic Collage and Adobe Voice. Their projects are turning out great. Feel free to download these apps at home for them to get even better at using them!

Ride - Pedal - Walk to school Wednesdays
The City of Irvine treated us to an afternoon of activity and fun. Inflatables filled the field and students completed obstacles courses as a fun treat for the Irvine school that had the most participation in their RIde, Pedal, Walk program. Check out the pictures and some videos of the fun event last Thursday.
Scholastic Book Fair
The book fair is in full effect in the small multi purpose room. Come by before or after school to chop for fantastic book choices. It is open on Monday - Thursday from 8:30-3:30 and on Friday from 8:30-2:00 pm. I also left some wish list items that our classroom library would love.
