Course Selection Spring 2021 Timeline

February 2 - 4

• Course Selection Presentations and Instructions by Counselors; Selection sheet


• 11th grade English

• 9th & 10th grade History classes

February 5 - 10

• Students complete course planning worksheet and get parent and teacher signatures

• All 9th – 11th students verify that they can log into their Xello account

o Students can log-in via Digital Den or

o User name is LV-student ID # and your password is your 8 digit birthday.

February 11 - 26

• Students select and submit (lock in) courses in Xello. This may be done on any

computer, Chrome Book or iPad. It will not work on phones.

• This may be completed at home. The library and Career Center will also be available.

• All CTE students will have dedicated time in their CTE classes to enter their choices in

Xello the week of February 16 – 19

• PLEASE NOTE – if a student hits “SUBMIT”, they will lock the course planner and

cannot make changes unless a counselor or teacher unlocks it for them.

February 26

• Last day to submit course selections to course planner.

• Signed course selection sheets are due to English teachers.

Student 4 Year Plan Worksheet

Students will work with their parents & teachers to develop a plan for their 4 years in High School. Once completed the students will use the form to select courses in Xello.

College Credit Course Offerings

LVHS currently offers 26 different courses with opportunity to obtain college credit. Students can do this through AP courses, Dual Credit Courses, or Onramps. Learn more about each opportunity in this guide.
