Please find Superintendent Mueller's message below. Thank you for completing the Commitment Survey to indicate learning environment preference for semester 1. I understand that you have many questions at this time. Please know that as we navigate health and safety protocols, I will keep you well informed of the steps being taken for Phase 2 and beyond.
I look forward to when we can have all of our Tritons safely back on campus. We miss them so much!!!!

- Students are to log into Zoom classes with BOTH first and last name
- Student cameras should be on in all classes. If you do not permit your child to be on camera, please email administration so it can be appropriately communicated to the teachers.
- ***We are aware of students having connectivity issues and ask that they communicate this to their teachers via chat, email, or audio before or during class.
- ***We ask that parents refrain from asking questions and interrupting instruction while teachers are Zooming with students/class.

CMS Military Family Life Counselor Supports
WELCOME BACK FAMILY GAME TIME PACKS FOR MILITARY FAMILIES: To welcome CUSD military families back to school, Navy Child & Youth Programs is giving away goodie bags packed with fun-filled games for the whole family to enjoy! Family Game Packs will be distributed during the CUSD meal distributions (meal pick up is not required to receive your goodie bag). One game pack per military family with an enrolled student, while supplies last.

Counseling Services:Your CMS Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) is available to provide video and telephonic non-medical counseling support to students and/or families via zoom. To schedule a counseling session call or email Lisa. She's ready to support your family during these difficult times.
Support for Youth:
- Individual video non-medical counseling sessions for minors age 13 to 17 (parent or guardian must be available at the start of each video session to give parental consent and provide line of sight requirements during the session).
- Family video non-medical counseling for minors 6 to 12 years of age (parent or guardian must attend each session).
Military Kids - Lunch Bunch is back! Join me on Sept. 22nd at 12 PM via zoom and bring your lunch. This is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow military peers. Looking forward to seeing you all. Keep up the hard work and focus, you got this!

BABYSITTER TRAINING CAMP
Is your middle schooler looking for a means to earn spending money? Do they enjoy mentoring younger children? Then, the Coronado Recreation and Golf Services Babysitter Training Camp is the perfect opportunity for them. Offered on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 9:30a.m.-1:30p.m. at the Coronado Community Center, this program will train participants on the care and safety required to supervise infants and young children. This four-hour hands-on seminar, trains teens ages 11-15 on feeding and diapering babies and toddlers. Also they will learn how to recognize an emergency, how to handle choking and will be introduced to infant and child CPR.
Friday, September 25th is a non student day for CUSD so come learn a new skill on the path to starting your own babysitting business. Contact The Coronado Recreation and Golf Services Department at 619-522-7342 to register by phone or at www.coronado.ca.us/register to register online.
