Compassion
Why not love?
What is compassion?
Many people believe that compassion is simply noticing or feeling another person's pain. It is also acting to relieve that person's pain, it's sympathetic concern for other people's suffering and well-being.
How can I show compassion?
There are many ways to display compassion to your fellow people. Our main focus is getting others to show love to people they see eating by themselves.
Eating alone is not pleasant and at times can be embarrassing for the person who is by themselves. We have found through surveys that about half of the people we asked would only eat with someone or invite someone to eat with them depending on the situation. We wonder why students don't want to sit with other students they see eating by themselves. There are many benefits for that person such as having someone to talk to if they've had a bad day or not being lonely.
