Trigonometry Continues!!!
How are the trigonometric ratios used to find unknown lengths and angle measures in diagrams and real world scenarios?
Warm Up - Complete our Learning Scale (Second Checkpoint)
Instruction - Ms. Moon will model several problems in which we are finding the missing angles of right triangles.
Partner Practice - Kuta Worksheet for Missing Angles (due to edmodo)
Homework: Watch Ms Moon explain Angles of Elevation and Depression here. (16min)
You will reply in you-tube that you have watched the video AND upload your notes to edmodo.
EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY!!!

Applications of Trigonometry
How are the trigonometric ratios used to find unknown lengths and angle measures in diagrams and real world scenarios?
Warm Up - Spiral Review Problems
Partner Practice - A slew of real world problems for you to practice with Ms. Moon's guidance. This is our flipped classroom and it is only successful if you do your part and watch the required videos.

Review of Pythagorean Theorem, Special Right Triangles and Trigonometry
How are the trigonometric ratios used to find unknown lengths and angle measures in diagrams and real world scenarios?
Warm Up - Complete our Learning Scale (Third Checkpoint)
Partner Practice - For a quiz/activity grade, we will show all of our work and complete EOC style questions that reflect our work on the Pythagorean Theorem, Special Right Triangles (30-60-90 and 45-45-90) and trigonometry.
Homework -Based on how you responded to the third checkpoint, sharpen your skills in preparation for next week's unit test. Below are some electronic resources to assist you if you need extra stuff!!
Pythagorean Theorem
An interactive website with video support.
Pythagorean Triples (3 min and REQUIRED)
Special Right Triangles (30-60-90 and 45-45-90)
Thanks again, Nate S. for sharing these sites on special right triangles:
30-60-90
45-45-90
Our previously viewed video on special right triangles.
A new video explanation.
Trigonometry
Our previously viewed video on intro to trig.
I kind of like this guy's accent.
And finally, Ms Moon's video on angles of elevation and depression.
