TAMARA MCDANIEL AND SHARYN GUMINIAK (Teacher on Special Assignment): The elementary curriculum and instruction TOSA deserve kudos for going above and beyond to support elementary sites and teachers. They are always available to assist whenever and wherever they are needed. They are hardworking, kind, supportive, and positive. Kudos to them for all that they do everyday!

Books for Everyone! Kindergarten students at Record Elementary benefit from the generosity of the San Jacinto Rotary Club's Adopt-A-Kinder program! | Learn & Leave a LegacyOn January 28, SJUSD held the first of a three part Legacy of Kings and Queens Conference for our African American students in grades 4 and 5. The event focused on teaching students about African History and the importance of developing social/emotional skills necessary to be successful. | What's for Lunch?! First grade students from Park Hill Elementary took a cross-town field trip and toured the SJUSD Central Kitchen. Both the students and the Nutrition Services staff had a great time! |

On January 28, SJUSD held the first of a three part Legacy of Kings and Queens Conference for our African American students in grades 4 and 5. The event focused on teaching students about African History and the importance of developing social/emotional skills necessary to be successful.

At the February Board of Trustees meeting a formal "Round of Applause" was extended to fourteen employees who have reached professional milestones and academic achievements. |
