Music: The Rhythm of Buckingham
Congratulations to 12 of our Buckingham 6th graders who participated with 5 other schools in an elementary choir at the 2018 VH1 concerts at Holicong Middle School. We met our goal this year of $35,000, which will allow the VH1 foundation to restore a Music program to a school in New Orleans parish, lost since Hurricane Katrina.
In Other News:
- Our 5th and 6th graders are working had on their Spring Musical, “The Adventures of Captain Starblaster”, which will be presented on April 5 and 6. The cast will also be performing a “sneak preview” of the show (3 songs) for the Central Bucks School Board and Administration on Tuesday, February 27th!
- Our 4th graders are deep into their Recorder Karate books
- Our 3rd graders are studying line and space names in preparation for playing Boomwhackers and Bells
- 2nd graders are studying musical symbols and form
- 1st graders are doing a great job working on reading rhythms
