WBMS Friday Notes
Aug 20-24
Reflections from Ms. Perkins
WBMS Parents and Guardians –
Thank you to all who came out to one or both curriculum nights this week, and also to those who joined us at AHS for our first Parent University of the year. Creating a strong partnership between home and school is extremely important and strengthens our overall community. We are all invested in guiding our students to be the best version of themselves they can be; and when we unite, we increase our chances of reaching that goal. I encourage those of you who can volunteer in our school to do so. It is a fallacy that secondary schools no longer want parent involvement; on the contrary – we love when you are here! Furthermore, your students love seeing you at school too (even if they don’t always show it). I realize many of you cannot physically join us during the day but hope you will stay connected through other means like Friday Notes, email, School Governance Feedback, and evening events. Have a wonderful weekend!

No Parking in the Crosswalk
The safety of our students is our number one concern. Please do not block the crosswalk on Webb Bridge Road with your vehicle as we have MANY walkers and bike riders who must use it to safety cross the street to get home at the end of the day. If cars are blocking the area, our students cannot see oncoming traffic. Please help us keep all of our students safe!
