Japan's second tallest tower
Tokyo Tower is an observation and communications tower located in Tokyo. It stands at 333 metres making it Japan's second tallest tower and structure. The tower is a brocasting provider for many Japanese tv channels such as Fuji TV. It also has a 4 story building at the bottom which holds cafes, museums and shops.
Construction to the tower began in 1957 due to the fact that Japan's major brodcasting network began brodcasting in 1953. Japan needed a new and powerful tower. The build was complete a year later and costed 2.8 billion YEN or 8.4 million U.S.D.
