Counselor's Corner:
Counseling classes are just getting started at Lincoln School. Mrs. Brtek, the school counselor, is talking to kids about class rules and expectations, as well as launching into that first lesson entitled “Life is a pickle!”. Mrs. Brtek is talking to the students about the sweet days and the sour days that we all have, and the importance of talking about our feelings. Future lessons will include identifying emotions, “It’s Great to be Me”, and saying no to drugs for our Red Ribbon Week lesson.

Lincoln Montessori Drop Off Procedures 7:50-8:05
Due to construction, all of the students will enter the school on the west side of the building. Students will be allowed into the building at 7:50 a.m. Students who are here before 7:50 a.m. will line up on the paw prints and wait in line until the doors open. There is no supervision before 7:50 a.m. so it is best that students are not dropped off until 7:50. Students are considered “tardy” at 8:05.
Students will enter the building and go right into the gym where they will have the option to eat breakfast or sit in line on the floor until the bell rings at 8:05 at which time we will have our morning meeting.
There is limited parking in the parking lot, but there is parking on the street. While parking on the street next to the school please utilize the sidewalks to walk your child to the west entrance of the school.
Lincoln Montessori Pick Up Procedures Mon. Tues. Thurs. Fri. - 3:15-3:25 Wed. 2:00-2:10
The dismissal bell rings at 3:15 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and it rings at 2:00 on Wednesday. Kindergarten, First, and Second graders will exit the west doors (the same doors they came in.) Third and fourth graders will exit the east doors on third street. If you have children in K/1/2 AND 3/4 please communicate with your children and their teachers as to which door you will pick them up at. Please be prompt in picking up your student.
