Online Enrollment Process

4-H Members and Leaders will enroll in clubs and projects through 4H Online at: v2.4honline.com Each member or volunteer must re-enroll in 4-H each year. Links are below.

Returning 4-H Members DO NOT set up a profile. You already have an account. Your login is your email address. If you have forgotten or do not know your password, please select "I forgot my password". A temporary password will be sent via email.

You are required to re-enroll for the 2021-2022 4-H year. Profile information may have changed so it is important that everyone (youth and volunteers) update their profile before submitting. Please be sure to double check your address, phone number, and email address and update if needed.

Remember that there should only be one 4hOnline profile per family.

Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA)

YQCA has moved! Nebraska 4-H requires all members enrolled in a livestock project to complete annual quality assurance certification through the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals program. The program has recently moved to a new online system available at YQCAProgram.org. Learn more about YQCA requirements and find help documents at 4h.unl.edu/yqca.

The Premier Animal Science Event, also known as PASE, features a variety of state-level animal science contests, including Livestock Judging, Meats Judging, Poultry Judging, Livestock Skillathon, and Livestock Quiz Bowl. This year’s event will be held June 22-23 at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln East Campus. Learn more at 4h.unl.edu/pase

New!! Hands-On Safety Day: Tractor and Equipment Safety for Young and Beginning Farmers and Ranchers

Young and beginning farmers, ages 13 and older are invited for a day of hands-on equipment demonstrations and tractor driving (14 years of age and over to drive).

May 24, 2022 – West Central Research and Education Center in North Platte

May 26, 2022 – Raising Nebraska in Grand Island

Annual Tractor and Equipment Safety Certification Training Course for students 14 years of age and older

Successful completion of a one-day in-person training (driving exam) paired with an online learning module will result in certification for 14 and 15 year old youth to be employed on farms and ranches.

May 25, 2022– North Platte

June 6, 2022 – O’Neill

June 7, 2022 – Gering

June 8, 2022 – Broken Bow

June 9, 2022 – Hastings

June 10, 2022 – Weeping Water

Special Garden Project

The Special Garden Project gives 4-H members the opportunity to try growing a new and unusual vegetable or flower each year. The project allows experienced 4-H gardeners to grow something fun and exciting while letting those who are newer to gardening get their feet wet in the horticulture project area with a guided project experience.

May 26 Proper planting, newspaper roll planting, and starting your garden. Starts 6 PM at the Community Garden located on North Spruce.
