Moving Forward
Team Columbia:
We hope you had a restful weekend and enjoyed your holiday. A special shout out to our Marching Band and JROTC for representing Columbia in the MLK Parade downtown on Saturday.
Many teachers have requested and inquired about going forward with conducting our grade level assemblies, especially in light of the recent news of Columbia being labeled as a "Failing School." The schedule for those assemblies have been scheduled for Thursday and Friday. Continue to encourage our wonderful students. We will begin working toward removing our name off of that list.
We are working on resources and plans that we all can have a hand in in order to continuously improve and move forward. As a said below, it will take everyone. There is no doubt in my mind that we can overcome this road block.
Enjoy this week of the of teaching and learning!!!

- Remember, to email the teachers you plan to visit, before you visit their classroom.
- Identify at least 2-3 takeaways (inclusive of strategies) that will help improve your practice via the Google form
- Feel free to observe teachers outside of your content area during your "Learning Walk"
Remember, this can be incorporated as evidence in your Educate Alabama to support our two school indicators. Please use the Google form below to input your takeaways:
