LANCASTER BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUTS!
MESSAGE FROM YOUR ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
Lancaster Families,
Thank you to all of our families for their hard work over these past few weeks. Feedback from both families and staff highlights the immense amount of academic, technology, and life learning, the highs and lows, and the incredible things that are happening within our school community. We will continue to share information with families as updates come our way.
VIDEO CONFERENCING GUIDELINES
LDSB Central and Senior staff continue to work on establishing protocols, guidelines and sharing essential information out to the system. Included in this newsletter are two supporting documents for students and families around the use of video conferencing and online platforms for learning at home. Please do take some time to review and share in an age-appropriate way with your child. Now is also a good time to review with students some of the details around on-line etiquette and digital citizenship.
TECHNOLOGY ACCESS
We will be doing a second round of device distribution this week for families that are in need. While devices are limited, we want to ensure that the path to remote learning is eased by having access to the technology that best facilitates learning at home. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you require further support.
Stay healthy and safe,
Lani Fox and Carrie Moore

Are you MOVING?
Ontario Ministry of Education Learn at Home Resources
With the end of March Break, families may be looking for ways to establish learning routines at home when schools are closed. The Ontario Ministry of Education has provided some links to resources that families and students can access from home.
ACCESS TO WIFI
For individuals without access to the internet, the wifi is being left on, and enhanced where possible at Limestone D.S.B. schools. Students can log into wifi outside of any of LDSB school. A reminder that students and families must use physical distancing protocols and stay at least 2 meters away from others when using wifi around a school.
