A Peek into our week
Today is the last day of the 3rd Quarter and I can't believe that means that Monday will be the start of our final Quarter! These sweet things are almost 3rd graders. I am not sure how I feel about that:(
We had a lot of fun with Dr. Seuss week! A BIG thank you to all our guest readers this week. It is always fun having family and friends come visit our room.
Another big thank you to all that were able to come for our Chapel Devotional. The children did an amazing job leading it for the entire elementary school.
In Math we are finishing up our study on time. We never did figure out where all the time goes! Ha Ha! Sorry, I know that was lame! We will begin our unit on Measurement next week.
ELA - We enjoyed several articles in our SUPER magazine and also completed a few end of the Quarter Assessments while working hard to finish strong with our AR and Math Facts. We are also working on planning and writing an imagined story. The children have come up with several wonderful writing ideas.
Bible - We finished up Esther and learned about Patience by studying Noah. Our family devo time at the carpet continues to be my favorite part of the day!
We will begin a Social Studies Unit on Communities next week.
