These words are often words students have seen and heard of before but don't always understand what the word in asking them to do when they appear in questions on standardized tests.
Tips for Finding a Media Balance Over Winter Break
Too much time, too much media. Follow these practical steps from Common Sense Media for creating a home environment of media balance:
- Create screen free times and zones in your home
- Explore and use built-in digital well-being tools (timers, turn off auto-play, reduce notifications)
- Model the behavior you want to see from your kids
- Help kids identify healthy behaviors
- Understand how tech companies make money (ads and tricks)
