Principal's Message
ELK Family,
After a busy Homecoming Week, we are thankful to have an extra day of rest on Monday. No school on Monday, October 9 in observance of Columbus Day. All BISD offices will be closed. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, October 10.
On Wednesday, October 11, all 9th, 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT (no registration or payment required). Testing will begin promptly at 8:45 am. Be on time! Calculators will only be provided for 11th graders. 9th and 10th grade students who wish to use a scientific or graphing calculator must bring their own.
On Wednesday, Seniors will report directly to the Arena for the Senior Meeting. Attendance is expected and many important items will be discussed (fundraiser, cap/gown orders, prom, and college/career info).
There will be no CTE transportation on Wednesday, October 11. All students will remain at their home campus. BHS students will report to room 234 during the period they would normally go to CHS.
Also on Wednesday during 7th period, all students will be asked to fill out a Gallup Poll. More information and an opt out form can be found here. If you do not want your child to participate, please fill out the bottom of the form and return it to the house office by Tuesday, October 10th.
