Hinduism

The founder of Hinduism is the Aryans it started in India about 3,000 years ago. Their holy books are the Vedas, Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. Hinduism spread throughout the world. Their beliefs were karma which is every action brings about certain results, reincarnation which is when the soul dies it moves into another human being or animal, moshka which is the souls final resting place and polytheism which is the belief in more than one God. Their practices are that they pray 5 times a day, the caste system which is the classification of people by their professions, dharma which is a set of rules, meditation and vegetarism. Their final resting place is moshka they believe that you can reach moshka by being successful in your lives.


Practicing this religion affects the daily lives of its followers by them having to follow a set of rules which is dharma and having to think about their actions and the results it will bring and following the caste system and being ranked either high or low and based on that being treated either fairly and unfairly and being successful in their lives to eventually reach moshka.

What Is The History of Hinduism?

Buddhism

The founder of Buddhism is Sidhartha Gautama. Buddhism is a belief system, it is not considered a religion. Their holy books are the Tribitaka, Mahayana Sutras and the Tibetan book of the dead. Buddhism started in northern India and spread internationally. They believe in the four noble truths which are 1) The truth of suffering 2) The truth of the cause of suffering 3) The truth of the end of suffering 4) The truth of the path leading to suffering. They also believe in enlightment, Nirvana, Reincarnation and karma. They practice meditation and they do things to achieve nirvana. Their code of conduct is the four noble truths. Their final resting place is nirvana you reach it by being successful and becoming enlightened.


Practicing this religion affects the daily lives of its followers by its followers doing whatever it takea to forget about their wants and become enlightened to be successful and reach nirvana.

What is Buddhism?

Judaism

The founder of Judaism is Moses. Their holy book is the Torah. Judaism began in Palestine and Israel and spread around the world. They believe in monotheism which is the belief that there is one God. Their practices are things like eating certain foods and Shabbat.


Practicing this religion affects the daily lives of its followers by them following their specific rules and practices in order to be successful. They look up to God and look to him to give them advice about what to do.

Confucianism

The founder of Confucianism is Confucius. Their holy books are the Analects and the Mencius. Confucianism started in China and spread to Vietnam, Korea and Japan. They believe in Daoism which is your attitude based on life and they believe in the five relationships which are 1) ruler, subject 2) father, son 3) older brother, younger brother 4) husband, wife 5) friend, friend. They practice respect and Filiel piety. Their code of conduct is the five relationships.


Practicing this religion affects the daily lives of its followers by them having to follow the five relationships and Daoism. They live their lives and do things based off of the five relationships. They also practice respect and go off of respect and Filiel piety.

Christianity


The founder of Christianity is Jesus. The holy book of Christianity is the Bible which consists of two parts the Old Testament and the New Testament. Christianity began in Judea, Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea. Christianity moved all over the world because it is the biggest religion in the world. Christianity is the most popular in Europe and South America/North America. The Beliefs of Christianity are the belief in Monotheism which is the belief in one God. Believe that Jesus is their savior. Also believe in the golden rule which is to treat others the way you want to be treated. Practices are they go to church, pray, read the bible, go to religion classes and celebrate religious holidays. Their code of conduct is the Ten Commandment's. The final resting place is heaven or hell.


Practicing this religion affects the daily lives of its followers by the followers working to spread Christianity all around the world. The followers go to classes to learn more about Christianity. They also go to church to read and study the bible. They celebrate holidays such as Christmas and Easter to honor Jesus.

Islam

The founder of Islam is Mohammed. The holy book of Islam is the Koran. Islam originated from Mecca and Medina. Islam spread all around the world. Muslims believe in the Koran, they believe in the prophets and messengers of God, they believe in the day of judgement which is a day when all people will be resurrected for gods judgement on their beliefs and deeds. The most important belief of Islam is the belief in one and only one God Allah. The practices of Islam is the five pillars which are 1) Shahadah: sincerely reciting the Muslim profession of faith. 2) Salat: performing ritual prayers five times a day. 3) Zakat: Paying alms tax to support and help charity. 4) Sawm: Fasting during the month of Ramadan, 5) Hajj: Pilgrimage to Mecca. The code of conduct is the five pillars.


Practicing this religion affects the daily lives of its followers by them having to take the time out of their day to pray 5 times which includes getting up at 5 in the morning. They also can't eat any pork which is a meat that lots of people eat. They can only eat meat that's blessed. During the month of Ramadan they have to fast and can't eat or drink anything from sun up to sun down. They also have to use a lot of money to visit Mecca and they also have to make the time to go.
