Year 5 Weekly Update

Week 4
We hope you all had a wonderful Mid Autumn Festival and were able to celebrate it with friends and family. During Mandarin this week, the children experienced a range of Mid Autumn Festival activities as well as having the opportunity to buy lanterns and fruit.

Unit of Inquiry - Who We Are
Developing social and emotional skills may help us to learn better, get along with others and feel better about ourselves.
Each week we will be giving you some discussion points to use at home to check your child's understanding and to prepare them for next week's learning. This weeks are:
- What mindfulness tools (strategies) have you learnt this week?
- How do these strategies help you to develop your social and emotional skills?
- Which is your favourite tool/strategy to use and why?
