Weekly Rundown --- December 17, 2021

Have a wonderful break

Silver Trail families,

I truly cannot believe we are already to our Winter Break! We had so many wins and lots of positivity in this first half of the year. This school year and year overall, have been difficult for everyone-- I think everyone can agree the weight of the pandemic is a lot and we were all hoping for more normalcy this year. Overall, I do believe with achieved this! I am proud that we were able to provide our students with the Jog-a-Thon, Thanksgiving parade, holiday activities, assemblies, and so much more. If you haven't thanked your teacher yet for all he/she has done, please do (consider nominating your teacher for our Teacher Shout Outs, down below)!

Our teachers work SO hard for our students.

On Thursday we celebrated our K-2 students at our Gold Ticket assembly and on Friday we celebrated with our 3-5th grade students. We did a sing-a-long, awarded about 60 Gold Ticket prize winners at each assembly, and ended with Santa coming to town! The kids were excited to see Santa. Mr L., Silver Trail's first principal who retired last year, dressed as Santa for our 3-5th grade assembly! It was truly the best time! I have shared some photos below. Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing your children with us everyday. They bring our school to life and we are lucky to work with a great community of students and families. We look forward to continued learning, growth, and fun in the new year.

Reminder that there is NO SCHOOL MONDAY, JANUARY 3, as teachers will be partaking in learning during our Teacher In Service. We will see students back on Tuesday, January 4th.

I hope your family has a wonderful and restful holiday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! See you in 2022!

Mrs. Ritter
