Legalism
Was a very strict Chinese philosophy. The law code was clearly written and known by all people. Everyone under the ruler was equal. Laws should reward those who obey them and punish those who dare to break them.
Taoism (Daoism)
Tao means "way", "path" or "principle". This religion emphasizes living in harmony. It is believed that for you to have happiness you must practice magic, Live a simple life and live in harmony with nature.
Buddhism in China
Follows the 4 Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. These 2 things state that being jealous of a good life could bring you suffering and sorrow. You should view life as it really is. Intentions of living a good life will strive toward perfection. You should face reality and not be jealous of others.
