George School's Family Update
October 9, 2017
Welcome to October!
I also want to thank the Peer Pals for their help with Morning Line Up. Drop off in the morning has been smooth sailing due to their help and for their continual modeling of exemplary behavior. Thank you for being good role models.
A Few Drop off/Pick Up Reminders
With the exception of Red Flag Days, drop off and pick up are through the back doors and black top, except for Kindergarten which is through the side door. Pick up and parking in the front present congestion and a safety hazard for buses at dismissal. Also, a reminder that there are no visitor spots this year due to our increased staff. All numbered spots are assigned to our staff members, many of whom travel between schools and need to park in their spots when they arrive to teach our students. Thank you for your consideration with this.
On Red Flag Days, I will send an email and tweet a "Red Flag Alert" , in addition to posting the flags. We will also leave the Gym door open so students may also enter through this entrance alleviating some of the drop off congestion.
