Tyngsborough Elementary School
January 14, 2018 Update
During the week of January 22-26, TES will be participating in The Great Kindness Challenge (http://www.greatkindnesschallenge.org/). We are looking for family volunteers to come in during this week to assist students with kindness craft activities during recess times. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Nicole Young (nicole.young@tyngsboroughps.org) with your available day(s) and times. For scheduling purposes, we ask that volunteers commit to at least two time blocks/grade level recesses, if possible.
Traffic Flow Video
We continue to have concerns with the arrival and dismissal process at TES. Please take a moment to review the traffic flow video. Families dropping off in the morning should not be getting out of the car or waiting until your child enters the building.
We truly appreciate your cooperation so that we can ensure safety and timeliness for all.

Social Emotional Learning & Approaches to Play
Kindergarten staff participated in the first part of a three part training learning about the MA Standards for Social Emotional Learning and Approaches to Play and Learning with Mrs. Manganis last week.

Family in Need
A member of Junior Girl Scout Troop 68085 in Tyngsboro lost their house, belongings and unfortunately, their family dog in the fire last week. We would like to help them get back on their feet and take away some of the burden by holding a gift card drive. Please send any restaurant, Walmart, Target, etc. gift cards in to any of the schools in an envelope labeled “Gift Card Donation Drive” any day this week. The Girl Scout is 11 years old and she has a sister who is 16 so clothing gift cards for them are also appreciated. We thank you for your generosity in helping one of our sister scouts.
