Upgrade your skills in the kitchen and build on the cooking knowledge you already have! Join Nutrition Services in a hands-on cooking workshop that merges healthy eating with culinary skills. Registration required.

Most Thursdays at 11:00. Check out our website for exact dates and times at www.indypl.org.
Babies, toddlers and preschoolers and their caregivers are invited to join us for stories, songs and fun! No registration required.

On your next visit, check out our table at the information Desk for different children’s kits (crafts and other activities) to take home! Limited supply available, no registration required. Ask about our kits if you would like to know what they are to pick up through our curbside service as well.

Register at any IndyPL location or on the Beanstack app. You can record your reading on a paper tracking sheet you get from the library or online by logging your account on Beanstack or by using the Beanstack app. Books can be from your home or the Public Library and can be read repeatedly. If you read The Very Hungry Caterpillar five times, that counts for 5 books! After completing the first 100 books, return to the library to receive a progress sticker and a prize. Prizes will be awarded for levels of 100, 500 and 1,000 books read.

This reading program is for students in grades 7-12. Students can register at indypl.beanstack.org or you can call the library or stop and visit and we can get you registered. There are prizes at 10, 25, 50. 75, and 100 books and we can do prize pick up through curbside as well. We do have a bookmark tracker if you do not wish to utilize the Beanstack website or app.
